TRAVEL // SUNSHINE CITY OF LAOAG

It was at Fort Ilocandia Golf & Country Club. I wasn't expecting too much here for I thought it's only a typical country club. But to my surprise, this place actually houses the preserved private room and other memorabilia of the late President Marcos.
Fort Ilocandia is a five star hotel Situated in the city of Laoag province of Ilocos Norte. It is hailed to be the only five star hotel in northern Luzon.  In addition to a restaurant, Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel features an outdoor pool and a casino making this a well known place to visit and stay in Ilocos Norte.

Hunger will not be a problem in the resort, as Fort Ilocandia has six restaurants  to choose from. There is the Ilocandia Cafe, which serves a variety of Ilocano and international dishes. The Lucky House Chinese Seafood Restaurant serves dimsum, noodles, and other Chinese specialties, while the Golden Pavilion Restaurant and Nightclub offers Asian dishes, mainly Cantonese, Taiwanese and Shangahinese selections. Folks looking for lighter meals can head to the Sports Bar, where they can watch TV and play darts, or they can relax at the Lagoon Bar or have a light snack at the Wines and Cake Shop.
With Archt. Mike Guererro, prolly discussing about Architecture and Photography.
One of my favorites! We had a huge Bon Fire Party at the beach with all of the delegates and Architects, how cool is that?
The Honor Dinner with my UAPSA buddies, Ralph Alvin Borres, Christopher Cuence, Bernan Celis, Jeremy Jasper Cembrano, Dane Silveo, Mariane Prado and Stephen Penaranda.

Guests can enjoy over 20 different kinds of activities that range from resort staples like swimming (the hotel has an Olympic-sized pool), jet skiing, and getting a spa treatment to more extreme ones such as archery, paintball, hot air balloon and ATV rides, and parasailing. And then of course, there is golf. The nearby Gary Player-designed Paoay Golf Course is built on 77 hectares of natural terrain, with 48 bunkers and century-old fruit trees providing part of the challenge. Those who want to indulge in less strenuous activities can try their hand at the casino, indulge in some retail therapy at the shopping arcade, or let loose in the video arcade
Hope you enjoyed today's travel diary, Gaaah I miss this place so much!

Stay aesthetically & functionally beautiful everyone! (c) (k)
