I tried monthly facials to get clearer skin at Skinetics Wellness Center—here’s what happened

Beauty products are my bread and butter. It is quite literally my job to slather clay masks and oils across my face in an endless search for the very best masks, serums, moisturizers, and more.

Luckily, Skinetics Wellness Center invited bloggers to avail their service—of course I couldn't say no to that. I need to detoxify my skin and pamper myself, I have been stressed with work and pretty much my skin hasn't been that glowing! It was a much needed 'me time' ;)

As I lay on the chair, their aesthetician did a full skin analysis, I had dehydrated-looking cheeks and red bumpy chin + t-zone. All the while, she asked gently probing questions about what kind of products I was using, what my diet and exercise habits were like, and how many glasses of water I drink every day. She gave me a lot of suggestions how to take care of my skin, kudos to their aesthetician techinal capabilities.

Licensed aesthetician will provide personalized skin recommendations and a regimen that will address your individual concerns. You may have an idea of your skin type and its needs (especially if you're a skincare junkie like me), but it never hurts to get a professional's input. An aesthetician can analyze your skin and recommend types of products you should be using to keep it looking 100.

Why is once-a-month the facial sweet spot? “Coming in monthly allows you to set aside some much-needed time for self-care, refresh your ravaged skin, with its no-frills treatment “rooms,” busy women-approved options (you can be in and out in 30-60 minutes), and facials makes it even easier to justify turning what we commonly think of as a luxury into something a bit more routine.

This may not be the most economically savvy route to clear skin, but I went for it. After a month, my skin had dramatically improved. Not only am I more confident than ever about the state of my skin, but I've also renewed my love for skin care.

Though I was skeptical, I was at wits’ end with my complexion woes so I acquiesced, agreeing to visit Skinetics Wellness to have my facial atleast once a month.
