TRAVEL DIARY: NADSADJAN FALLS

Nadsadjan Falls is a popular tourist destination in Igbaras, Iloilo especially during Holy Week or Semana Santa, as local residents describe. The waterfalls is located at Brgy. Passi, Igbaras, Iloilo. Here’s a peek of our trip to the beautiful Nadsanjan Falls!

This view is what we woke up to. How I wish I would have this view everyday, unfortunately this is not what's outside of my window back in the city. *meh

Our trip wouldn't be complete if I can't drink a cup of cacao for breakfast!
It is Igbaras' house-made drinks/hot chocolates.

Mother nature loves Fritz Campos so much that they compliment each other, eh?

I know, I know, I'm a rose among the thorns. Meet my officemates, the bestest design team in the whole wide world! I wouldn't trade them for any other team!

Finally, here are some of the pictures of Nadsadjan Falls.

Have you noticed that my blog is somehow turning into a travel blog? My officemates and I had been traveling in rural places a lot during the weekends. Yes, trekking and hiking is the new hobby lately. Well, I think this is better than getting drunk from partying during the weekends, right? But of course I can perfectly know the difference between the two. :)

The trek is not that hard but still, it took a about 30-45 mins for us to reach the falls. The area can be muddy during rainy seasons and a bit dangerous as the river would overflow. Unfortunately, it rained so we didn't stay long. It was crazy going back because it was raining really hard. Good thing nothing bad happened. Yay! It was one of my most unforgettable adventures.

There are other attractions in the area but some may need an overnight stay at Mt. Napulak, which is also a home to one of the largest flower in the world, the rafflesia.

Igbaras is blessed with caves and other falls tucked somewhere in the mountains thus attracting trekkers and mountaineers than the usual tourist.
Stay tuned for my next travel blog post.
Up next is my weekend escapade at Isla Gigantes, Carles. :)
